Brian Ferentz tracker: Updated look at drive to 325 points following Week 7

Brian Ferentz made up minimal ground on his quest to 325 points by season’s end for the Iowa Hawkeyes.
The Hawkeyes scored just 15 points against the Badgers, but held Luke Fickell’s squad to just 6 points to pick up their 6th win of the season. It’s honestly incredible that Iowa continues to win these games despite less-than-ideal offensive performance week in and week out.
But give Ferentz some slack. He did lose his QB1 in Cade McNamara.
Regardless, the Iowa OC’s new contract stipulates that his offense must average 25 points per game and win 7 games (counting a potential bowl game). Through 7 games, the Hawkeyes have scored 146 points, which is just under 21 points per game.
IOWA BEATS WISCONSIN 15-6 AND BECOMES BOWL ELIGIBLE!
Brian comes up short of his mark for the week, but honestly? He looks like he’s having a blast winning this way, just to spite the world.

The Hawkeyes do not play any world-beaters on their upcoming schedule, either. Minnesota, Northwestern, Rutgers, Illinois and Nebraska await Ferentz, who will need to average just under 30 points per game moving forward.
Of course, this counts Iowa’s bowl game after they officially clinched eligibility status Saturday against the Badgers.
