Maryland RB suspended indefinitely

Maryland’s offensive options just got even more limited.
The team announced on Monday that it suspended running back Wes Brown indefinitely for violating the student-athlete code of conduct.
It marked the second time in which the junior tailback was suspended. He missed all of the 2013 season after he was suspended for being charged with felony wiretapping, second-degree assault and theft of less than $1,000.
Brown was third on the team in rushing behind Brandon Ross and Perry Hills with 371 yards and three touchdowns on the season. He was coming off a game in which he carried the ball 12 times for 52 yards.
Without their short-yardage back, the Terps will turn to Ross and fullback Shane Cockerille. Ty Johnson also figures to be in the mix when Maryland hosts Indiana on Saturday.
