Trayce Jackson-Davis, the Indiana Hoosiers’ starting forward, leads the pack following his 2021-22 season where he would shoot for 58.9% and averaged 18.3 points per game. The Coaches’ and AP All-B1G would put him on the B1G’s All-Defensive Team for last season’s performance.
Michigan’s Hunter Dickinson, starting center, earned the second spot on Katz’s list. Dickinson is a consensus All-American and was named to the All-B1G first team.
The Boilermaker’s Zech Edey is ranked 3rd as the Purdue starting center. After a strong summer camp, Edey earned a spot on Canada’s National Team.
Kris Murray, Iowa starting forward, is hoping for a similar breakout season as his twin brother, Keegan, had last season. As the son of former Hawkeye Kenyon Murray, he’s recorded two games of over 20+ points.
The 5th spot is reserved for the Golden Gopher’s Jamison Battle. During his sophomore season as the starting forward, he earned the All-B1G’s Honorable Mention and led the team in scoring averaging for 17.5 points per game.
Indiana, Rutgers and Michigan State have the most players in the Top 22 with 3 each.
