Coming off of a B1G West title in 2020, Northwestern is doing its best to reload and regroup for 2021.
Last season, the Wildcats took the B1G by storm after a rough 2019 season. Despite just 3 wins in 2019, the Wildcats flipped things around with transfer quarterback Peyton Ramsey and a strong defensive unit.
Now, after a 7-2 record in 2020, the expectations are once again rising for head coach Pat Fitzgerald and company. However, the Wildcats must replace some key pieces on both sides of the ball.
During BTN’s stop in Evanston, analyst Joshua Perry came away with three key takeaways from Northwestern’s practice time. The things he highlighted are the energy, the offensive line, and an undecided QB battle.
