The Nebraska Cornhuskers have had a rough season. Although they’ve played hard in all of their games, the Huskers have lost nearly every game in the closing minutes, which could have made a huge difference this fall.
Saturday was no exception. The Cornhuskers had a chance to take down No. 15 Wisconsin only to once again fall short, 35-28. What makes this loss even tougher to swallow was a missed call by Big Ten officials that may have cost the Huskers a shot at overtime.
Big Ten analysts Dave Revsine, Joshua Perry, and Gerry DiNardo all ripped the Big Ten officiating crew for that big miss.

“It was broken up by Faion Hicks, but guys, pretty clear he got there early,” said Revsine.
Perry agreed with that statement from Revsine. He believes a flag should’ve been thrown, giving Nebraska another opportunity to send the game into overtime or potentially win.
“Pretty early,” Perry said. “It’s one of those situations where you gotta throw the flag.”
“I never remember this many issues with pass interference and holding, it’s really gotten big,” DiNardo said.
Another tough loss for Nebraska, and another long off-season for head coach Scott Frost.
