With six weeks of action in the books, Big Ten Network analyst Dave Wannstedt released his latest B1G power rankings on Wednesday.

Here’s the full video, via BTN’s Twitter account:

At the top of Wannstedt’s list, Ohio State (6-0) is tied for No. 3 in the latest AP Poll. Idle on Saturday, the Buckeyes will next be in action on Friday, October 18 in Evanston vs. Northwestern (1-4).

Wannstedt’s top team in the B1G West, No. 8 Wisconsin (5-0) hosts Michigan State (4-2) on Saturday (3:30 PM ET, BTN).

Holding off the No. 17 Iowa Hawkeyes (4-1), 10-3, on October 5, the No. 16 Michigan Wolverines (4-1) claimed the fourth spot in Wannstedt’s rankings. Looking to move back into the top-15 nationally, Michigan plays Illinois (2-3) in Champaign on October 12 (12:00 PM ET, ABC).

Initially getting into coaching as a graduate assistant with the Pittsburgh Panthers in 1975, Wannstedt got his first defensive coordinator job with the Miami Hurricanes in 1986. After coaching in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins, he returned to the college ranks as Pitt’s head coach in 2005.
