Ohio State has a new addition to its 2019 recruiting class.

Friday, 3-star tight end Cormontae Hamilton gave his verbal pledge to the Buckeyes through a Twitter post. Photos showed the prospect sporting the scarlet and grey uniform with the text reading “I am 100% committed to The Ohio State University.”

Hamilton is a 6-foot-2, 263-pound prospect out of Memphis, Tennessee. He’s ranked as one of the 30-best tight ends in the 2019 class and is the 22nd-best player out of Tennessee, according to 247Sports.

In addition to Ohio State, Hamilton held offers from two other B1G programs; Indiana and Michigan. He also had offers from Alabama, Louisville, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Ole Miss.

Hamilton becomes the 15th member of Ohio State’s recruiting class, which ranks as the best in the B1G and sixth nationally.
