Ohio State cornerback Sevyn Banks hasn’t made a final decision on his future at this time, but it sounds like he’s leaning pretty heavily in one direction.

In an interview with Eleven Warriors this week, Banks said Ohio State’s Rose Bowl Game against Utah “should be” his final game in a Buckeye uniform. However, he has not made a final decision and will come to a conclusion at a later date.

“I’m not sure yet, but I’ll definitely let you guys know,” Banks said.

Banks appeared in 8 games for the Buckeyes during a 10-2 campaign in 2021. The cornerback was credited with 8 tackles and a pass break-up during the year.

Over the past 4 seasons, Banks has tallied 43 stops, which includes 3 tackles for loss. He’s also totaled 10 pass break-ups, an interception and a fumble recovery during his time in Columbus.

The good news for the Buckeyes is it sounds like Banks is committed to playing in the Rose Bowl for Ohio State. While it may not be the College Football Playoff, several players have confirmed that they will be playing in “The granddaddy of them all.”
