Cox is ranked as the No. 22 prospect of the 2018 class and is the second-best strong-side defensive end. He was one of the top commitments for the Buckeyes.
While there was no indication where Cox may land, both Alabama and Georgia are expected to be high on the wish list. The five-star prospect is a Stockbridge, Georgia native and may decide to stay in-state.
During his recruitment, Cox has been offered by 25 programs, including five B1G programs. In addition to Ohio State, Alabama and Georgia, Cox also has offers from Auburn, Clemson, Michigan State and Miami.
The Buckeyes have dropped to 18 commitments for the 2018 class. They still rank No. 1 in the B1G.
