It didn’t take long for Ohio State fans to snag up tickets for the April 17 spring game.

On Tuesday, The Columbus Dispatch reported that the limited ticket allotment made available to the general public for this year’s spring game is already sold out. There were 4,500 tickets that went on sale Monday and all were gone within a 24-hour period.

Capacity at Ohio Stadium will be capped at just over 19,000 fans because of COVID-19 protocols and guidelines. Half of the tickets for the game were reserved for front-line health care workers and an additional 2,500 were saved for students at Ohio State.

With no general admission allowed during the 2020 B1G football season, fans were eager to get back into The Horseshoe.

Along with tickets being sold out for the game, Ohio State’s marching band (The Best Damn Band in the Land) will also be back inside the stadium for the spring game after not being permitted during the 2020 season.

Saturday’s spring game is set for 12 p.m. ET and will air on Big Ten Network.
