It turns out some members of the Washington band had a scary Thanksgiving.
In what looks to be a scary incident, one of the buses carrying band members flipped on icy roads Thursday. Washington State Trooper John Bryant was on the scene of the accident and initially reported 20-25 members of the band were sent to a nearby hospital.
Bryant later updated the number of band members sent to hospitals was closer to 40-45. Thankfully, he reported it was a precautionary measure with no serious injuries among the group.

Here are some of the photos Bryant shared of the wreck Thursday evening:
The accident occurred as the Huskies were traveling to Pullman for the annual Apple Cup game against Washington State. Kickoff for that game is set for Friday evening at 8:30 pm EST on FOX.
The university released a statement following the accident:

After looking at those photos, we are certainly thankful no one suffered serious injuries in the scary accident. As we head into the winter months, remember that icy roads are no laughing matter.
