Cade Stover sets historic receiving mark for Ohio State vs. Minnesota

Cade Stover has had a terrific career for Ohio State since joining the program in 2019.
Stover was considered a 4-star recruit at linebacker when he arrived on campus but was converted to tight end. That move has paid off as he is now just 1 of 3 Buckeyes tight ends to record over 1,000 receiving yards.
With 76 yards in 2021, 406 in 2022, and 508 in 2023, Stover only needed 10 yards to hit the 1,000-yard plateau. He set it on the opening drive with a 16-yard catch. Along with his 1,000-plus yards, he has 9 career touchdowns, with 5 of those coming in 2023.
The Buckeyes, meanwhile, hold a 10-0 lead over the Golden Gophers at Ohio Stadium. Should the Buckeyes win, they will face Michigan on Nov. 25 with a trip to the B1G Championship on the line. Ohio State and Michigan are also Nos. 2 and 3 in the College Football Playoff rankings, so it will be a game with Playoff ramifications as well.
Ohio State-Minnesota is on the Big Ten Network.
