Caitlin Clark impresses at John Deere Classic pro-am event

Caitlin Clark took her talents to the links on Wednesday.

The Iowa star played in a pro-am event at the John Deere Classic in Illinois. Clark, along with 3 other amateurs, played with pros Ludvig Aberg (front 9) and Zach Johnson (back 9) on Wednesday.

Clark had a significant gallery following her group throughout the day. According to ESPN’s Michael Voepel, Clark was consistently signing autographs for fans during the round.

By all accounts, Clark played well on the day. Here are a few highlights from her afternoon at the John Deere Classic pro-am:

Clark is just a few months away from resuming her historic career on the hardwood. Last season, she led Iowa all the way to the National Championship Game and was named National Player of the Year.
