Caitlin Clark is the 2024 Rookie of the Year.

The WNBA made the announcement on Thursday. Clark received 66 of the 67 votes, with Angel Reese receiving the other.

Clark was selected No. 1 overall in the 2024 draft. She has had a sensational first season with the Indiana Fever.

A starter of all 40 regular-season contests, Clark led the WNBA with 8.4 assists per game, setting a league record with 337 on the season. Her 19.2 points and 1.33 steals per game led all rookies. Clark had 14 games with at least 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and 8 games with at least 20 points and 10 assists.

Clark set WNBA rookie records with 769 points and 122 3-pointers. She’s now second all-time in 3-pointers made in a single season.

This season, Clark recorded the first two triple-doubles by a rookie in WNBA history. She posted 19 points, 12 rebounds and 13 assists against New York on July 6; and then 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists against the Los Angeles Sparks on Sept. 4. In July, Clark set a single-game WNBA record with 19 assists against the Dallas Wings.

Clark’s Fever teammate Aliyah Boston won the award last season.
