Caitlin Clark was making all of the right moves against N.C. State. Clark showed out even though Iowa lost to the Wolf Pack 94-81.
Clark finished the game with 45 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists in the loss. This was the Hawkeyes’ third loss of the season. The only other losses so far have been to No. 3 UConn and Kansas State.
Through eight games Clark is averaging 29 points, which is a career high. Before this season Clark’s highest career points per game average was 27 from last year.
Clark showed off her deep three-point range as she tried to will her team to a win. Clark quickly received a pass after an N.C. State bucket and hit a beautiful shot from the Iowa logo.

These kinds of performances are something that Clark is becoming known for. It’ll be interesting to see how Clark can follow a game like this up.
