After a tumultuous season, Nebraska wraps things up on Saturday and now looks forward to next season.
The Huskers got off to a weird start to the 2022 season when Scott Frost was fired just three games into the season. Mickey Joseph took over as interim head coach and Nebraska is still searching for its next head coach.
While there are still a lot of unknowns, edge Caleb Tannor offers hope to fans for the season ahead with an analogy.
“These fans got a lot to look forward to,” Tannor said. “There’s gonna be big things coming. It’s a nucleus and that thing is growing. It’s like a tumor, really. A good tumor, though. Not a bad tumor. A good tumor… when they explode this place is gonna be rocking.”
The future for Nebraska isn’t clear, but according to the players, big things are coming.
