Caleb Williams hasn’t gotten off to quite the start that Chicago Bears fans have hoped for, as he has struggled to the adjustment that is the NFL. However, he was able to accomplish a first on Sunday as he hit fellow top 10 first round pick Rome Odunze for a touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts.

Not only was it the first score for Williams, but it was also the first receiving touchdown for Odunze, the No. 10 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
That is the lone highlight for Williams in what has been another tough day for the rookie quarterback. The Bears were still trailing the Colts by 12 points with less than 5 minutes left in the game after Williams’ touchdown.
Williams has thrown for 300 yards for the first time in his career, but he has also thrown 2 interceptions and fumbled the ball once.
Odunze is having his best game as a rookie, as he has went over 100 yards for the first time in his career. Usually when a player scores their first career touchdown, they get to keep the ball. With this being the first for both of them, they were playfully fighting over the ball to see who keeps it.
