Two former Big Ten stars combined to clinch the Steelers’ eighth straight win of the 2020 season.

Ohio State’s Cam Heyward and Wisconsin’s TJ Watt met at quarterback Garrett Gilbert on 4th down to get the ball back for the Steelers in a one-possession game.

Here’s the play:

Watt and Heyward were each credited with half a sack on this play. That brings their season sack totals to seven and two, respectively.

Dallas ended up getting another possession, but Gilbert’s last-second throw into the end zone was off target.

The Steelers didn’t play their best game, but they were still able to come away with the victory over the shorthanded Cowboys. This is the first time the Steelers have ever started a season 8-0.

Pittsburgh is in great shape schedule-wise going forward, too. The Steelers still have games remaining against the Bengals (twice), Jaguars, Washington and Browns.

Watt, Heyward and the Steelers host the Bengals next Sunday.
