Camden Heide delivers electric putback jam during national title game

Camden Heide has played some valuable minutes off the bench in Purdue’s national title game appearance vs. UConn, and one of his moments will go down as one of the best plays of the game.
Early in the second half, Zach Edey attempted a shot from the post but was off the market. As the rest of the players on the court tried to jockey for rebounding position, Heide came flying through the air.
He caught the rebound with his arm fully cocked back before delivering a thunderous dunk on the putback. This is one play he’ll remember for years to come.
Here’s Heide’s putback in all its glory, complete with alternate angles:

Even with Heide’s putback and a strong first half from Edey, UConn has controlled the action and is looking to put things away deep in the second half. If the Boilermakers cannot find a spark quickly, the Huskies will roll to a second straight national title.
