How about that start to the Mickey Joseph tenure in Lincoln!
Nebraska quarterback Casey Thompson and Trey Palmer have Nebraska on the board against No. 6 Oklahoma, connecting on a 32-yard pass for a touchdown. Palmer has 3 receptions for 57 yards early.
Nebraska took a 7-0 lead early before Oklahoma responded. It’s a 7-7 game in Lincoln.

Nebraska has a long way to go in this one, but seeing the Huskers able to move the ball at all is a good place to start for a program that is not expected to do anything but lose to a college football giant today.
Let’s see if the Huskers have anything in them.
