Katz had Rutgers guard Paul Mulcahy at No. 21 on his countdown. The senior averaged 9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.3 assists last year for the Scarlet Nights.
Katz said Mulcahy is the “ultimate glue guy,” for Rutgers, but expects him to have more of a feature role this season and score some more points. Mulcahy stands at 6’7″ and 213 pounds, giving Rutgers a great option for a mismatch on defense and an oversized guard running the floor.
Rutgers is coming of an 18-14 season and looking to get back on track this season. Rutgers tips-off its season Nov. 7 against Columbia.
