CBB rankings: 7 B1G teams crack AP Top 25 in first poll of 2021

The first poll 2021 has been released.

Monday afternoon, the Associated Press released its latest Top 25 for the college basketball season. Once again, plenty of B1G teams earned recognition.

Seven B1G teams are ranked this week, down two from the poll last Monday. Ohio State and Northwestern both fell out of the Top 25, while the other teams ranked last week still sit inside the rankings.

Iowa is the highest-ranked team in the league, sitting at No. 5 with a 9-2 record. Wisconsin and Michigan are both inside in the Top 10 this week, sitting at 9-2 and 9-0, respectively. Here’s a look at the complete rankings from the AP:
