After Penn State running back Saquon Barkley’s performance this week against the Indiana Hoosiers, there were a lot tweets calling for him to already be given the Heisman.

Barkley returned the opening kickoff for 98 yards and even threw for a score. It is not surprising to see fans everywhere say he deserves the award after that type of game. And national college football analysts are showing their support for Barkley to get the Heisman.

On Sunday, CBS’ Dennis Dodd released his Heisman top-3 and Barkley was sitting at No. 1.

Behind Barkley were two Pac-12 stars: Washington State quarterback Luke Falk and Stanford running back Bryce Love.

It will be interesting to see how the Heisman race shapes up because there are several stars who are worthy of the trophy this season.
