The Inside College Football crew made their predictions for the College Football Playoff after Week 7.

Last week caused a significant change in the top 4 teams that would qualify for the Playoff. With Alabama losing to Tennessee, the Playoff outlook took a different turn. Alabama was expected to reach the Playoff and after the loss, it will be hard for the Crimson Tide to make the postseason tournament.

During the latest episode of Inside College Football, the show’s analysts revealed their latest predictions for the Playoff heading into Week 8. Aaron Taylor, Brian Jones, Randy Cross, and Rick Neuheisel made their most recent selections on Tuesday for this season’s playoff. All 4 analysts had the same 4 teams in their Playoff bracket, but the order was different.

Neuheisel had Ohio State ranked as the No. 1 seed and paired the Buckeyes against Tennessee in the first game of the Playoff. He had a rematch of last year’s Playoff Semifinal between Georgia and Michigan. For Cross, Georgia was his top team, followed by No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Michigan, and No. 4 Tennessee. Jones ranked the 4 teams as No. 1 Georgia, No. 2 Tennessee, No. 3 Michigan, and No. 4 Ohio State.

In the most surprising bracket, Taylor’s rankings were No. 1 Tennessee, No. 2 Georgia, No. 3 Michigan, and No. 4 Ohio State. He was the only analyst to rank Tennessee as the No. 1 team in the Playoff rankings.
