Cedrick Dort Jr., a Wisconsin DB, was carted off the field after a violent collision with a Northwestern player on Saturday.
After the collision, Dort went down to the ground and was seen not moving for a few moments. Several players came to Dort’s side, as well as Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald. Dort did eventually sit up, but then the decision was made to remove him off the field via cart.
Before being taken off the field, the Badgers cleared the sideline to gather around Dort in a show of Badger sportsmanship.
