David Blough’s legs were shaking as the hurdlers it the starting blocks. The Detroit Lions quarterback and his teammates sat in a meeting room to watch Blough’s wife, Melissa Gonzalez, compete in the 400-meter hurdles in an attempt to qualify for the Olympic semifinal round.

She did it.

Gonzalez posted a 55.32, a national record for Colombia and has qualified for the semifinal round. Blough and his teammates had an incredible reaction to the accomplishment.

The Lions posted the entire video. It’s one of the best things on social media this weekend:

“You don’t always get these type of experiences, but to me that embodies enjoying the ride because that was pretty cool,” Lions head coach Dan Campbell said in a press conference, per ESPN. “It was a moment, I can tell you that.”

It certainly was a cool moment.

Blough formerly played at Purdue before getting a shot with the Detroit Lions in the NFL. The team’s watch party for the Olympics was held after the third day of training camp.
