He finished the win over Michigan State with 7 catches, 131 receiving yards, and 3 receiving touchdowns. Butt, a B1G analyst, was impressed with what he saw from Harrison in Week 6 during an episode of the B1G Network’s Vibe Check:
“I would look at Marvin Harrison Jr, there are certain guys who you’re like ‘that dude is an NFL player that is still in college.’ He’s done it week over week,” Butt said. “The catch is phenomenal, but the ball placement by CJ Stroud is just so accurate and deadly downfield, right behind the defender Brantley’s back where he can’t see it. That’s just execution on all levels.”
Butt was stunned with Harrison’s acrobatic catch that he made at his shoestrings. This was Harrison’s 3rd 3-touchdown game of his career. He caught 3 touchdown passes in the Rose Bowl and the 2nd time he did that was against Arkansas State in Week 2 this season.
