Danny Kanell continues to air some wild takes as he is showing he is no fan of certain bowl-eligible teams.

On Tuesday, the CBS Sports college football analyst voiced that in order to reach bowl eligibility for postseason play, teams should have to win 8 or more games.

Among the B1G teams this season that would not be playing in a postseason bowl if Kanell’s rule was enforced would be Wisconsin (6-6), Maryland (7-5), and Iowa (7-5). There would 6 B1G teams playing in a bowl game, including Michigan and Ohio State in the College Football Playoff semifinals.

Wisconsin is set to play Oklahoma State in the 2022 Guaranteed Rate Bowl. Maryland is set to play No. 23 NC State (8-4) in the 2022 Duke’s Mayo Bowl. Iowa is set to face Kentucky (7-5) in the 2022 TransPerfect Music City Bowl.

It would be worth noting that No. 13 Florida State (9-3) would be safe under this proposed change to the postseason bowl games by Kanell, who has shown favoritism to his alma mater in his analysis and takes.
