A Big Ten defensive coordinator was included on Matt Zenitz’s top coordinators of the week following a big win over a fellow Big Ten team.

Michigan defensive coordinator Jesse Minter won the spot after his unit’s performance against Penn State last week.

The Wolverines’ defense dominated the Nittany Lions, allowing just 157 passing yards and 111 rushing yards. Penn State, which has been solid on offense this season, couldn’t do anything against Michigan. One of Penn State’s only 2 touchdowns of the game came on an interception.

The Wolverines’ performance Saturday was a continuation of what has been a dominant season thus far. Michigan is 7-0 and has dominated in almost all of its games so far.

The Wolverines have a bye week this week, but then will look to continue their dominance on Oct. 29 when they take on Michigan State.
