One of the biggest games of the college football season is on the horizon. On Saturday, No. 8 Penn State travels to Columbus to battle No. 2 Ohio State with B1G East and College Football Playoff implications on the line.

Thursday morning, ESPN college football analysts Maria Taylor and Emmanuel Acho talked about the major implications this colossal B1G showdown has, and some interesting comments were made.

Acho believes that, if Penn State defeats Ohio State and goes on to win the B1G, the Nittany Lions would be firmly in the College Football Playoff picture. Taylor, on the other hand, thinks the Buckeyes, win or lose, still have the upper hand.

Both agreed on one thing, though, that the B1G has a very limited chance to get two teams in the College Football Playoff. Taylor and Acho agreed that the SEC is in much better position to land multiple teams into the four-team field.
