Chad Johnson has his pick for the 2023 Heisman Trophy. The former NFL WR great gave his pick to Ohio State wideout Marvin Harrison Jr.
MHJ is the most talented returning wide receiver in college football for the 2023 season, and it’s hard to really argue it. The rising junior exploded for a 1,263-yard season in 2022, hauling in and incredible 14 touchdowns along the way.
And Johnson is so sure that Harrison will win the 2023 Heisman trophy that he vowed to give up eating at McDonalds should his prediction flop.
Talked to @ochocinco about @MarvHarrisonJr and he had a pretty bold prediction.
“Oh, he’s gonna win the Heisman this year. I stand on that. And if I’m wrong, I’ll never eat McDonald’s again.” pic.twitter.com/kM40SI0UjQ

The Buckeyes’ ceiling is high because of elite talents like Harrison, TreVeyon Henderson and Emeka Egbuka. Should Kyle McCord or Devin Brown lead the offense with even close to the same efficiency as CJ Stroud, we may see the Buckeyes take back the B1G title from Michigan or even make a legitimate run at the national championship game. Truly, 2023 could be one of the better teams Ryan Day has had at Ohio State.
Think Johnson is onto something about Harrison’s shot at becoming the first Heisman-winning WR since DeVonta Smith? We’ve got you covered.
FanDuel Sportsbook currently has Harrison’s odds at winning the trophy sitting at +3000. With this FanDuel Ohio promo code, you can get a No Sweat bet up to $1,000 on Harrison, McCord or Henderson to take the cake.
