Chad Ryland is dropping dimes into the field goal netting at Michigan. The Maryland kicker is killing it so far in the first half.

Going into the game, Ryland had made 20-straight field goals. This streak is the longest in college football, and dates back to Oct. 2 of 2021. Angelique Chengelis of The Detroit News provided the background info about his streak.

So far against Michigan, Ryland has hit field goals of 53 and 52 yards, and is doing his part to keep Maryland in the game.

Ryland is on the watch list for the Lou Groza Award, and was Second-Team All-B1G on the Lindy’s Sports Preseason team. Pro Football Focus, Athlon Sports, and Phil Steele also had him on their preseason teams.

Even if Maryland ends up not being able to pull off the upset, Ryland’s streak is still impressive.

Ryland and Maryland are giving Michigan a great game so far on FOX at the moment.
