Charles Campbell, Indiana’s main FG option in 2022, reveals SEC transfer destination

Charles Campbell, the former kicker for the Indiana Hoosiers, has announced his destination of where he will transfer. On Wednesday, Campbell announced on his Twitter page that he will be transferring to the University of Tennessee to play for the Volunteers as a grad transfer.

Charles has spent the first 5 years of his collegiate career at Indiana. In his time as the kicker for the Hoosiers, Campbell is 73-of-73 in extra points and 39-of-51 in field goals (76.5%). This season, he was 27-of-27 in extra points and 14-of-20 in field goals (70%).

One of Campbell’s biggest kicks this season was a 51-yard game-winning field goal to give Indiana the 33-30 overtime win over Western Kentucky in Week 3.

Campbell was a 3-star prospect from Jackson, Tennessee coming out of high school. He was also the 9th-rated kicker and the 53rd-rated prospect in the 2018 recruiting class, according to 247Sports Composite.

Campbell will join a Tennessee team that has SEC title and national championship title goals in 2023.
