Need a last-second costume for Halloween? Purdue football has got you covered.

Like many social media platforms looking to spice things up this holiday weekend, the Boilermakers’ Twitter handle posted a photo of wide receiver Charlie Jones as a costume idea. While he might be No. 15 on the field, Jones is No. 1 in terms of great last-second costumes.

Is this a tribute to his elusive speed in space?

Jones has been the top weapon for Aidan O’Connell and Co. this season. Through 8 games, the 6-foot, 188-pound receiver has totaled 72 catches for 840 yards and 9 touchdowns. Jones’ best game came in the season opener against Penn State when he registered 12 catches for 153 yards and a TD in a 35-31 loss at home.

The Boilermakers are currently on their bye week but will return to Ross-Ade Stadium on Nov. 5 to take on Iowa. Currently, Purdue is in 2nd place in the B1G West standings behind No. 17 Illinois.
