Charlie Jones has been one of the best B1G transfers this season. Jones went from Iowa to Purdue and is making the most of his opportunities.

Jones is leading Purdue with 840 yards receiving and 9 touchdowns so far. He knew from the beginning that he was always more than just a returner, and has been trying to prove people wrong ever since he left Iowa.

“I knew all along I’m more than just a returner,” said Jones. “Kind of like my whole career, I knew. I wanted to prove to everyone I was a receiver. With my last year that’s what I had in mind. I knew Purdue, playing with a quarterback like Aidan, I’d get to showcase that.”

Purdue is 5-3 through eight games partially thanks to Jones. A matchup with Iowa at home awaits the Boilermakers in Week 10.

We’ll see how Jones plays as the game is set for Saturday at noon ET on FS1.
