The junior has amassed 496 yards across 3 games, leading Illinois to a 2-1 start. He picked 146 yards in his first game, 199 in the second and 151 against Virginia on Saturday.
Brown has a hefty lead on the man in second, Nebraska’s Anthony Grant, who has 428 yards.
Brown was a 1,000+ yard rusher last season and he is on pace to do it again this season and pass his career high of 1,005.
The Fighting Illini are shaping up to have a solid season. They are off to a 2-1 start with their loss coming to Indiana, who is scorching hot right now. Illinois takes on Chattanooga next week before getting into the brunt of conference play, starting with Nebraska.
