Chase Young 2.0? Strip sack by Zach Harrison leads to defensive TD for Ohio State

Expectations are sky-high for Zach Harrison entering his junior year, and he is making a big impact during Thursday’s season opener.

Through his first two seasons, Harrison has accumulated 38 tackles, 10 TFL, and 5.5 sacks. However, the former 5-star prospect from the class of 2019 is trying to anchor the defensive line for the Buckeyes in a similar way to Chase Young’s impact during his tenure in Columbus.

During the opener against Minnesota, Harrison produced one play that is bound to remind Ohio State fans of Young. It came on a strip-sack of quarterback Tanner Morgan.

He blew past the offensive tackle and was all the way to Morgan before the running back had time to try and help in pass protection. Harrison easily knocked the ball out when it bounced to Haskell Garrett for the scoop-and-score.

That play made it 31-21, putting momentum squarely in favor of the Buckeyes:
