Former Ohio State star and Washington Football Team defensive end Chase Young went down in the second quarter at home versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a scary-looking injury. Young needed to leave the field on a cart due to the severity of his leg injury.

Now it is reported that Washington fears Young has torn his ACL while in a pass rush. It is a rough situation for Washington, who started the second half of their 2021-2022 NFL season on Sunday by hosting Tampa Bay.

Young was the second overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He was named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year this past season. Young has accounted for 25 solo tackles, three tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles this season before the game versus Tampa Bay.
