Michigan State picked up commitment No. 12 for its 2019 class on Thursday night.
Chicago athlete Alante Brown made the announcement via his Twitter account. In his announcement, Brown shared a note thanking his mother and his coaches for helping make his childhood dreams come true. He also included a photo in Michigan State gear as well as a graphic declaring him committed.
Brown, a 5-10, 180-pound 3-star ATH and dual-threat quarterback out of Simeon in Chicago, is rated the No. 107 athlete and No. 24 recruit out of the state of Illinois by the 247Sports Composite. It is worth noting that his commitment graphic lists him as a wide receiver.
He also had Power 5 offers from Minnesota and Missouri.
His commitment note and high school highlights can be viewed below. The Spartans’ class now ranks No. 22 nationally and No. 6 in the Big Ten.
