The Chicago Bears are now dealing with some stolen equipment amid the other recent drama.

Equipment was stolen sometime on Wednesday evening that was valued at more than $100,000, according to ABC7 Chicago. It has been an interesting week for the organization, to say the least.

Former Chicago Bears DC Alan Williams resigned in recent days. Quarterback Justin Fields also stated that his robotic play as of late had to do with coaching.

The thieves tore down a fence to reach some gators and lawn mowers in a garage at the stadium. They then drove the stolen equipment out of the garage.

Chicago is looking for its first win of the 2023 season. Its opponent this week won’t be easy as the Kansas City Chiefs play host to the 0-2 Bears.

Fields is off to a dismal start to the season, and was 16 of 29 for 211 yards with 1 touchdown pass and 2 interceptions in last week’s 27-17 loss to Tampa Bay. He was sacked 6 times in the game, and the Bears are last in the NFL in sack percentage.

Kickoff from Kansas City will be Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.
