The status of two key players for Ohio State is still up in the air as the team prepares for the season finale against Michigan on Sunday.

Saturday, Buckeyes head coach Chris Holtmann was asked about the status of Zed Key and Kyle Young for Sunday’s Senior Day contest against the Wolverines. Right now, Holtmann doesn’t have much of an answer.

“We’re not sure on either guy,” Holtmann said, per Griffin Strom of Eleven Warriors. “It’s really to be determine after practice today. I know Kyle would love to be out there given what this place means to him.”

Neither Key nor Young played in Ohio State’s 80-69 victory over Michigan State on Thursday. Key has been battling an ankle injury. Young was ruled out but no reason was provided prior to the game.

Both Key and Young have played critical roles for the Buckeyes throughout the season. Key is averaging 8.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game while Young is posting 8.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists per contest.

Sunday’s game is set for 12:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
