Chris McIntosh, Wisconsin AD, congratulates JJ Watt on upcoming retirement

Chris McIntosh joined the many fans, players and others weighing in on the recent decision of JJ Watt.
In a post on social media, Watt referenced playing in his final NFL home game, indicating he will retire from the league at the season’s end. A 2011 draft pick out of Wisconsin, Watt compiled a remarkable career with 3 Defensive Player of the Year Awards and being named the 2017 Walter Payton Man of the Year.
McIntosh congratulated Watt in a statement on social media while praising the former Badger for his example on and off the field:

“Congratulations JJ on a remarkable career,” wrote McIntosh via a statement. “You have set a standard for all Badgers to aspire to, both on and off the field, inspiring us all to ‘Dream big, work hard.’ I join millions of Badger fans in wishing you nothing but the best. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter of your life brings.
“Pewaukee proud and On, Wisconsin!”
We’ll see what the future holds for Watt as he wraps up an impressive NFL career over the next few weeks.
