Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson were destined to be great in the NFL, but it was only in their first seasons that they produced at a high level. Both Olave and Wilson are the first pair of NFL receivers from the same school to account for 1,000 receiving yards in the same rookie season.

Wilson played all 17 games for the New York Jets this season as he caught 83 receptions for 1,103 yards and 4 touchdowns. He was drafted 10th overall by the Jets in the 2022 NFL Draft as the second receiver off the board.

Olave played 15 games for the New Orleans Saints this season as he caught 72 receptions for 1,042 yards and 4 touchdowns. He was drafted by New Orleans with the 11th overall pick, just one pick behind his former teammate.

Both Olave and Wilson are the leading rookie receivers this NFL season. They were the first Buckeyes receivers to be drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft since Ted Ginn Jr. in the 2007 NFL Draft.
