P.J. Fleck rocking a cowboy hat was about the least-surprising thing that could’ve happened upon Western Michigan’s arrival at the Cotton Bowl.

Paul Chryst, on the other hand, was a different story. Based on his Walmart-like sweatshirt in last year’s Holiday Bowl, the mild-mannered Wisconsin coach isn’t exactly known for pushing the fashion limits in the postseason.

But amazingly enough, Chryst got into the Texas spirit:

That was two surprising headgear moves made in the last week for Wisconsin. Ahead of his final game in a Badger uniform, linebacker Vince Biegel chopped off his signature mullet.

It appears that the times are changing quickly for the Badgers.
