CJ Stroud has had an excellent season for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The junior quarterback led the Buckeyes to an 11-1 record while throwing for 3,340 yards, 37 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. He and the Buckeyes have more to prove with a spot in the College Football Playoff, too.

The Associated Press voted for National Player of the Year Thursday, picking USC quarterback Caleb Williams. Stroud, a Heisman finalist alongside Williams, finished 3rd in the voting.

Here is the full list of players who were voted in the top 5. (Not Stround)

Stroud still has lots to prove and he’s got some pretty impressive competition in front of him. Let’s see if he and the Buckeyes have what it takes to win their first national title since 2014.
