C.J. Stroud had to make more plays with his legs than usual against Northwestern in Week 10. Ryan Day talked about potentially calling more plays that cater to Stroud’s running abilities at Tuesday’s press conference.
Day sounded like he is open to giving Stroud more opportunities to run the football. Ohio State might have found a new wrinkle on offense.
“I’ve embraced it,” said Day. “Maybe we’ve found something there.”

CLAIM NOW!The weather in Evanston forced Ohio State to focus more on the running game. Stroud had 76 yards passing, but finished second on the team in rushing yards with 79. Only Miyan Williams had more than Stroud with 111 yards rushing and 2 scores.
Regardless of the adjustments that the Buckeyes had to make they still won 21-7 and remain undefeated.
Perhaps fans will get to see more of Stroud’s running abilities against Indiana. Ohio State and Indiana face each other at noon ET this Saturday on FOX.
