CJ Stroud had another classic CJ Stroud performance in Week 4.

The former Ohio State passer led his team to a comeback victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Stroud capped off the performance by leading his team down the field to score the go-ahead TD.

Stroud rolled out to his right and found running back Dare Ogunbowale for a 1-yard score to put the Texans up by 4 with under 20 seconds to play.

On the day, Stroud completed 27 of 40 passes for 345 yards with 2 TDs without an interception. Stroud also rushed 3 times for 17 yards. The Texans picked up another conference win to improve to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

Since being taken in the 1st round of the 2023 NFL Draft, Stroud has set the league on fire. As a rookie, Stroud surprisingly led the Texans to the playoffs, won the NFL Rookie of the Year Award, and earned a Pro Bowl selection.

Of course, Stroud’s performance as a pro isn’t shocking to Ohio State fans. Stroud is one of the most accomplished passers in Ohio State history.

Stroud is 2nd in program history in career passing yards and career passing TDs. Stroud also set the single-game passing yards record in 2021, throwing for 573 yards in a win over Utah.

Now, sitting at 2-0 in the conference, Stroud has his team eyeing another AFC South title and playoff appearance. The next test for Stroud will come in Week 5 against the Buffalo Bills in Houston.
