CJ Stroud and the Ohio State offense are off and running! After getting stopped on the first drive of the game, the Buckeye offense was able to get things in gear.
A couple of penalties helped set Ohio State up in good field position. Stroud also hit Marvin Harrison Jr. for a would-be touchdown, but Harrison was unable to secure the pass as he went to the ground.
Fortunately, Stroud came right back, slinging a bullet to Emeka Egbuka on the outside. Egbuka was able to get down the sideline and beat his man to the pylon for Ohio State’s first touchdown of the year.
It made it 7-3, Buckeyes, in the first quarter:
No, that’s not @chrisolave_.
It’s @emeka_egbuka, and he’s another talented @OhioStateFB WR. pic.twitter.com/zK5a5pZvkr
