C.J. Stroud has landed his name at the top of the Heisman Trophy odds list for good reason.

Ohio State’s quarterback continues to dominate on offense, and he is now third in the nation in passing touchdowns this season.

Stroud is just one touchdown behind North Carolina’s Drake Maye and Mississippi State’s Will Rogers, who each have 19 touchdowns. It is likely he could lead the nation if he has a good showing on Saturday.

Stroud had 2 touchdowns in Ohio State’s first game against Notre Dame and against Rutgers, 4 in his second game and a whopping 5 touchdown passes in the Buckeyes’ games against Toledo and Wisconsin. He just can’t seem to slow down.

He has helped lead Ohio State to a 5-0 start, and the Buckeyes have emerged as one of the best teams in the country. Stroud has already picked up 1,376 passing yards to go along with his 18 touchdowns.

Ohio State takes on Michigan State on Saturday.
