CJ Stroud, Ohio State strike first in Peach Bowl with TD to Marvin Harrison Jr.

CJ Stroud and Ohio State found the end zone first in the Peach Bowl matchup with Georgia. After punting on their first possession, the Buckeyes were able to get a big third-down stop of the Bulldogs.

Facing a 3rd-and-1, Ohio State was able to get to quarterback Stetson Bennett off of a read-option play. Bennett was tackled out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage, and Georgia missed the ensuing field goal opportunity.

The Buckeyes answered right back, coming down the field in short order. Stroud was accurate and efficient with the ball, eventually finding Marvin Harrison Jr. for a big-time touchdown throw.

After getting flushed out of the pocket, Stroud directed traffic and was able to find Harrison beating his man for the catch in the end zone:
